  • What is warranty repair?

    Warranty repair refers to the repair or replacement of a defective part free of charge, provided that the defective part has been used normally during the warranty period and managed according to the periodic inspection cycle described in the instruction manual (user’s guide) and that it is found by technical analysis that the failure has been caused by a defect in the material of each equipment component or flaws in manufacturing.

  • What is a delivery, regular and walk-around inspection?

    Delivery inspection: Refers to an inspection conducted at a delivery site when delivering equipment to a customer.

    Regular inspection: Refers to an inspection conducted to check the operational status of equipment produced and sold by the company within the warranty period, or an inspection conducted as a preliminary service for the customers. Various services are provided such as equipment maintenance and technical training on a regular basis.

    Walk-around inspection: Refers to the on-site maintenance and technical training service provided to customers who purchase or own the equipment produced and sold by the company, even though the customer has not requested A/S. The company inspects equipment two times a year if the equipment has been delivered more than 12 months ago and less than 2 years ago.

  • What is the scope of warranty repair?

    The scope of warranty repair and expense exemption is limited to failure caused by defects in the design or manufacturing of the equipment sold by the company and failure recognized by the company.

  • How long is the warranty period?

    A. The warranty period for equipment delivered to the customer is 12 months after delivery or after more than 2,500 hours of equipment operation, whichever comes first.

    B. If ownership of the product changes within the warranty period specified in the foregoing provision “A”, the new owner may inherit the remaining warranty period only.

    ※The warranty period is subject to change according to the company policy.

  • What is a genuine product?

    A. A genuine product refers to a part whose quality has passed the quality requirements of the company and parts of whose quality is certified by the company.

    B. Our genuine products must be used when replacing the parts in our equipment.

  • When is the warranty repair service not applicable?

    A. If the equipment warranty period specified by the company has expired.

    B. If a genuine product was not used without prior approval from the company.

    C. If a customer modifies the equipment without the company’s approval.

    D. If the defective part is lost or damaged.

    E. If the equipment is used in a way that exceeds the equipment specifications defined by the company.

    F. If a malfunction is caused by a customer who fails to comply with the method of operation, periodic inspection, maintenance and storage, as described in the instruction manual (user's manual) of the company.

    G. If a malfunction becomes more serious because proper actions are not taken at the time it happens.

    H. If a malfunction is caused by light bulbs, fuses, brake linings, belts, filters, wiper brushes, various oil, motor brushes, nozzles, clutch disks and similar consumables.

    I. If an accident occurs due to a customer’s negligence.

    J. If a malfunction is caused by natural disaster, national emergency, riot, war and other similar reasons.

    K. If a malfunction occurs or becomes serious because the customer fails to have the product repaired at a branch/sales agent or A/S center (or designated maintenance factory).

    L. In the event of a customer’s sensory complaint about light noise, noise, vibration and such like which does not seem to affect the performance or function of the product.

    M. If a malfunction occurs due to a customer’s negligence.

    O. If a malfunction occurs due to the use of contaminated fuel and improper management of the lubricant.
